Great donuts, great staff. Hours stink as they are limited. But that's ok.

This Bakery is in a sketchy looking neighborhood. But worth the stop in. The Donuts always seem to taste fresh even if on the inside it looks like everything was there when they opened. I've never had a bad experience, or had any dealings with rude staff. They are always pleasant & willing to get you what you want if they don't have it on display, but may be able to make it in the back. The Donuts are pretty good... A little over hyped depending on who you talk to. But for the price, taste, & service... It's hands down the best in the area.

My 4 year old woke up at 430am today to go on her first early morning Hinkley trip with dad. She absolutely loved it. Thank you for being such a great landmark in our community and thank you for the greatest doughnuts in the state of Michigan.Recommendations : all if them. Personal favorites are any of the Crescents.

As usual, Hickley did not disappoint. I am so glad i can have my donuts and still able to practice safe distancing with other customers. Be kind everyone.

Pretty delicious... The only downside is that you can't go when they first open in the morning because everything is gone if you arrive at the wrong time... But if you are lucky enough to get what you want, it's very delicious...

The best place in Jackson for a donut, hands down. Prices are perfect, and the staff is awesome. The chocolate crescents and custard long johns are a great treat. Expect a line, it'll give you a few much-needed minutes to decide what you want!

Went at 11am on Friday and there were a TON of donuts left. Got 5 random ones, the custard filled long-john was by far the best one! I wish I could go back to try the rest!

Great old fashioned family owned donut shop. Grab 8 glazed donut holes for $2 - melt in your mouth goodness! The cinnamon cake and chocolate crescents also outstanding. Definitely worth the trip from lansing.

YUM! donuts are big, prices are good, around a dollar a donut depending on what kind you get. Waited in long line but staff is fast! Took less than 10 minutes and worth the wait. Staff is friendly. Cash only.

I live 2.5 hours away and have come here twice when I'm in the area. These donuts are amazing, there's something about the dough. The custard filled, cake donuts with chocolate, blueberry ones (both glazed and frosted), walnut fritter, and apple fritter are the best. Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful both times I've been here. The prices are reasonable too.

I’m from NYC and when I visited Jackson, I was told to go to Hinkley Bakery. It has been about 4 years since I experienced these donuts and I still think about them on a regular basis. Hands-down best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. If there is ANY possible way to ship me a couple dozen donuts, whatever cost, please let me know. My email is my first and last name at gmail if anyone needs to contact me about this. This is serving as both my most passionate review, as well as begging for a shipment of these donuts to NYC. Hinkley bakery and Jonesville bakery are the best doughnuts around. They are homemade deliciousness. The only con is they don't take Debit or Credit. This small inconvenience is definitely worth it.

We stopped at recommendation of a friend. Line was out the door so you know it was going to be good. People who had pre-ordered were able to skip the long line (we were waiting in line about 15 minutes, give or take). Blueberry crescents with blueberry frosting....delicious. We also got a bottle of milk to go with the treats. Very refreshing end to a sweet treat!Just an FYI, they take cash only, no credit card. And there is no place to sit inside and eat. We took our treats to the car.
